This is an excellent metaphor for what most people go through. Though I think the art was intended to be an inspirational, “go get your dreams” type image, i think its a lot more sad and true than that. The unicorn is a mthical beast that doesn’t look anything like a rhino, except that they both have a horn. There is nothing that a rhino can do to become a unicorn, short of destorying its mind and completely altering its body.
This isn’t a stretch for what most people go through when they have body image issues. They look in the magazines and she glorious beautiful people, people so beautiful they don’t actually exist. And some try to work to be exactly like those people. But maybe they just weren’t meant to be shaped like that.
A rhino can still be a beautiful rhino, it does not have to be a unicorn.

Niños de 4-8 años describiendo el amor.
- Rebecca, 8 años: Cuando a mi abuelita le dio artritis, ella ya no podía agacharse para pintar las uñas de sus pies. Entonces mi abuelito, lo hace por ella todo el tiempo, aun teniendo artritis en sus manos. Eso es amor.
- Terri, 4 años: Amor es lo que te hace sonreír cuando estas cansado.
- Danny, 7 años: Amor es cuando mi mamá hace café para mi papá y toma un sorbo antes de dárselo para asegurarse de que sepa bien.
- Nikka, 6 años: Sí quieres aprender a amar mejor, deberías comenzar con un amigo que odias.
- Elaine, 5 años: Amor es cuando mi mami le da a mi papi la mejor pieza de pollo.
- Chris, 7 años: Amor es cuando mi mami ve a mi papi apestoso y sudoroso y de todos modos dice que él es más guapo que Robert Redford.
- Mary Ann, 4 años: Amor es cuando tu cachorrito lame tu cara aunque lo hayas dejado solito todo el día.
